Tplink camera access

TP-LINK Cloud Cameras are cloud-based devices with Wi-Fi video monitoring, free live streaming and remote viewing that allows you to stay connected with important people in your life stay alert with your business from anywhere around. You must register your cameras to receive Tplink camera access. You can register through TP-Link cloud account by registering your email as a TP-Link ID to Tplink cloud login via the kasa APP, the tpCamera APP or http://tpcameralogin.com/. You can just use your TP-Link ID to manage your TP-Link router or log into TP-Link cloud account to get Tplink camera access.

The Tplink Cloud account

It is bound with the tpCamera APP and https://www.tplinkcloud.com.  It allows you Tplink camera access or lets you view your camera remotely in the tpCamera APP or through https://www.tplinkcloud.com by accessing you to your cloud account.

The TpCamera app

It is a free cloud-based app which provides video monitoring service along with free live streaming and remote viewing. The app makes it easy to stay connected with places, people and businesses from anywhere. It is quick to setup allowing, easy Tplink camera access and basic management.

It is really easy to start. You just have to take out the camera from the package and plug it in to connect it to the router. Follow the onscreen instructions or just auto run the app and you are done.

Tplink cameras are inbuilt with special features that allow you to:

Tplink camera access

To view the Tplink cloud camera or get Tplink camera access, you need to bind camera with your cloud account. Tplink camera access is very simple and user friendly that allows anyone to install and operate the camera within few minutes. For this First of all you will have to register your cloud camera with your Tplink Cloud account after creating an account via tpCamera APP.

This can be done by following three ways to set up a cloud account for Tplink camera access through Tplink cloud login into the web interface of cloud camera:

By registering using the tpCamera APP 

  • Download tpCamera App from app store for iOS and from Google play for android (You need to note that NC Class Cameras work only with the tpCamera app).
  • Run the app and Tap to select “New User”.
  • Go to the Settings, the IP Address of the camera is displayed.
  • Launch a web browser and type the camera’s IP address and Tplink cloud login screen will pop up where you need to input ‘username’ and ‘password’ as ‘admin’
  • Lastly, an activation email will be sent to your mail box to active your cloud account for completing the registration. Click “Resend Email” button, If you are unable to active your account through activation Email or if you have not received the activation Email.

By registering on the camera’s web interface:

  • Connect the camera to a PC and open your web browser type tplinkcloud.com or the default access 192.168.0.10 in the address bar.
  • On the camera’s web interface, go to ‘basic’ and select cloud settings’.
  • Click “Not registered” in the following screen to register a new cloud account.
  • Tplink cloud login Screen will appear and you need to input an email address, username and password for the cloud account. The default ‘username’ and ‘password’ is ‘admin’ for Tplink cloud login.
  • Click “OK” button.
  • The ‘tips’ screen will come up to let you know that the cloud account is registered successfully.

Using a router

  • Connect the camera and a PC or a smart phone to the router
  • Open a web browser and type the camera’s IP address to access TP-Link cloud account and the Tplink cloud login screen will appear.
  • Enter the ‘username’ and ‘password’ as ‘admin’
  • You can register your email as a TP-Link ID to Tplink cloud login via the kasa APP, the tpCamera APP or https://www.tplinkcloud.com. You can just use your TP-Link ID to manage your TP-Link router or log into TP-Link cloud account.

After the registration is complete, set up cloud camera with tpCamera APP

  • You first have to set up cloud camera with tpCamera app
  • Go to Settings and scroll down, you will see the IP Address of the camera. Copy it.
  • Open a web browser and paste the camera’s IP address and the Tplink cloud login screen will appear where you need to input ‘username’ and ‘password’.
  • The default username and password is ‘admin’.

Finally you can view the camera locally or remotely and gain Tplink camera access

To view it locally:

  • If your IP camera is close to you, you can view it locally. It is a simple process where you will just have to log into the camera’s web interface by steps explained above for Tplink cloud login.
  • Thereafter, you are asked to install WEB Plug in on your WEB browser. You can also download the WEB Plug in from the cloud website.
  • Install and run the WEB Plug in
  • Successfull installation of the WEB Plug in and run allows you to view your Camera locally through the management web interface of your IP camera.

To view it remotely: by two methods

  1. Through smart phone
  • You will have to download tpCamera App from app store for iOS and from Google play for android.
  • Ensure internet access on your phone.
  • Run the tpCamera app and Tap to select “New User”.
  • Launch a web browser and log in your tpCloud account by entering login credentials ‘username’ and ‘password’ as ‘admin’
  • You will now see all the cameras bundled to your account on the “Remote Device” interface of camera.
  • You can choose the device you want to view and tap the play button to preview real-time video or tap the Location icon to watch the live views.
  • Preview of the camera lets you only to watch the video but without sound and full screen. To hear sound and view it in full screen, you will have to tap location icon
  • Tap “More” or tap the location icon which takes you to the next interface, just tap “” and then you can view the full screen video.
  1. Through computer:
  • Connect the camera to a PC and open your web browser type tplinkcloud.com or the default access 192.168.0.10 in the address bar.
  • Connect the camera and a PC to the same router
  • Open a web browser and type the camera’s IP address to access TP-Link cloud account and the Tplink cloud login screen will appear.
  • Enter the ‘username’ and ‘password’ as ‘admin’
  • The screen appears and you are asked to download and install the camera WEB plug in in order to view the camera
  • Install and run the WEB Plug in
  • Select ‘click here’and download plug in by following the steps on screen.
  • After the installation is finished, go back to the homepage where you are asked to ‘allow’the add-on. Select ‘allow’
  • Finally you will be able to view the camera remotely.
